Here at Tag UR It! inc., we are very proud to work with the amazing Muffin Spencer-Devlin and happy to call her an honorary Tag Team member and wonderful friend!
For those of you who do not know the amazing Muffin, Muffin Spencer-Devlin is an LPGA Champion professional golfer, now turned glassblower!
On the professional golf scene, Muffin took home LPGA Tour wins in ’85, ’86, and ’89. Not only is Muffin Spencer-Devlin an award winning golfer, but made a cameo appearance as a member of Starfleet Medical in the feature film Star Trek Generations that was released in 1994 and made a brief appearance in “The Chute”, the third episode of the 1995 series Star Trek: Voyager.
Today, you are most likely to find Muffin blowing glass into miraculous pieces of art! Currently featured at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, CA, Muffin’s booth is full of her creations on display for sale.
We are very lucky to work with Muffin, making the sublimated plates on the blown glass trophies she creates.

If you have looked through the products on our website, you have seen many product descriptions stating sublimation as our printing method. We want to take a minute today to tell you about the sublimation process and the benefits of this great printing technique!
Sublimation is a process in which sublimation inks, printed on special paper for our heat press, are heated to 400°F at which point they turn into a gas and form a permanent bond to special polymer coated materials. These materials can be metal or a PVC type white plastic material called Unisub. The result is a premium full-color, photographic-quality image that will not crack, peel or wash away. This makes our products very durable to hold up in many work conditions!

Because of the versatility of printing on metal and Unisub material, we are able to create name tags, awards, signs, and custom products with the bright, beautiful full color printing sublimation offers. Today I have a fun and exciting post to share with you all! Many of you remember seeing our Wag Team in the Tag UR It! Inc. movie trailer series. Well, the Wag Team has grown since then! You all know we are huge animal lovers. Out pets are our children and we love to include them in every aspect of our life!
Being the pet lovers we are, the Tag Team visited the OC Pet Expo last month. The Expo was amazing! Animal lovers are a special kind of people: kind, caring, and fun. There were thousands of visitors on the OC fair grounds that weekend. We had a very successful trip, including adopting 3 new kittens into our family! Penny, Priya, and Zazzy (anyone notice the Big Bang reference?) were pretty sick when they adopted them into our home but are surrounded by so much love with our family!
While we were looking through the hundreds of booths at the Expo, one booth caught our eye. We noticed a booth of absolutely stunning pet portraits! We recognized immediately that these photos were done by the same photographer who shot the very cool photos used by JustFoodForDogs. (Most of you will remember our past blog post about adopting Kaia from the wonderful people at JFFD) We have always loved their photos and went over to check out their booth.
This amazing booth belonged to Dogma Pet Portraits! Dave and Sylvaine, owners of Dogma Pet Portraits, are absolutely amazing! After meeting Dave at the Pet Expo, we set up our initial design appointment at their Costa Mesa studio. Sylvaine walked us through the photo process and introduced the dogs to the studio. She showed them the big white room where the photos are taken and flashed the cameras so they would not be scared on photo day. Our first appointment was for Scout and Cat. These are the 2 babies who have been with me since I was a kid in the house I grew up in. Scout is now 15 and I knew these would be photos I cherish forever! After having such a wonderful experience with Scout, we decided to bring our entire furry family into Dogma Pet Portraits studio at once for a big family shot! That means all 15 of us (5 dogs, 7 cats, and 3 Tag Team Members) in one photo!! Dave was AMAZING!! He did it!! The results speak for themselves! Check out the videos posted below to see our photos!!

Tag UR It! inc. is proud of our business partnership with many Ruth’s Chris Steak House locations nationwide! We have been providing quality name badges and table reserved signs for Steak House locations for the past 3 years.
Until this weekend, the Tag Team members had yet to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and atmosphere of Ruth’s Chris together as a group! Saturday night, the Tag Team enjoyed a fabulous meal at the Irvine, CA Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Upon entering, we were welcomed by their wonderful staff! Sam, our waiter, brought us some warm, soft yummy bread and took our order! We all chose to go with their pre-fixed menu which offers each guest a starter, entrée, personal side dish, and desert duo. I enjoyed a delicious caesar salad to start, followed by perfectly cooked scallops with lump crab meat! Catheryn’s salmon was just as amazing! Heidi enjoyed the star of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, filet mignon and shrimp! Simply wonderful!!
Dessert was actually my favorite part! Each meal came with a desert duo of chocolate strawberry cheesecake and dark chocolate nuts clusters. To die for good! I could eat those little cheesecakes daily!! We had a wonderful evening out to dinner and cannot wait to return!
